Who we are

A community built around the sea

Founded in 1953, the Yacht Club de Monaco is one of the world’s most prestigious yacht clubs. Its clubhouse, designed by Lord Norman Foster and inaugurated in 2014 on Port Hercule, is home to a community of members from across the globe. True to the maritime heritage of the Principality and the spirit of its first motorboat gatherings in the early 20th century, the Club unites tradition, the art of living by the sea and a forward-looking commitment to innovation.

The Monaco Energy Boat Challenge is the flagship of this vision: a real-life laboratory for clean propulsion and sustainable design.

Environmental actions

Concrete commitments, ashore and at sea
