Fifty-six international teams compete across four classes Energy, AI, SeaLab and Open Sea Xperience each with its own boats, rules and race formats. Drawn from more than fifty universities worldwide, the crews bring electric, hydrogen, solar and autonomous technologies to the water, racing on equal terms under a shared rulebook. From the standardised catamaran hulls of the Energy Class to the self-navigating prototypes of the AI Class, every category sets its own engineering challenge and crowns its own champions.
