#EnergyBoatChallenge

Races

The on-water programme brings together qualifying laps, manoeuvrability trials, speed-record attempts, endurance formats and offshore sea trials – a complete framework where the boats’ technologies are observed, compared and challenged at sea.

On the water

Stadium & live viewing

At the heart of the on-water programme, the Stadium is the dedicated race area where the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge’s key trials and competitive formats take place.

ai slalom

Slalom

An autonomous slalom around a moving object, testing speed and accuracy.

AI docking

Docking

Leave the dock, run the course and return to stop precisely in the berth.

ai fleet

AI Fleet

A dash to a green geostationary buoy under 0.4 NM away — bearing revealed only at launch.

figure 8

Figure 8

Complete a figure-eight course as quickly as possible.

SeaLab Class · 8 teams — prototypes prove practical operation: low-speed precision, endurance and offshore capability.

Manoeuvrability

A low-speed handling challenge focused on precise control inside the marina.

endurance race

Endurance

A long-duration race, managing energy efficiently lap after lap.

16 nm speed trial

16 NM Speed Race

An offshore speed race over 16 nautical miles for range and reliability.
