Forged in the wake of the Challenge, the collaboration between Italian startup CompetR and student team UniBoat (University of Bologna) shows how Monaco incubates sustainable maritime innovation. After catching the eye of MonacoTech, CompetR equipped several teams with its counter-rotating electric motor and is now heading for production in Italy and a market launch around 2026–2027.
