Founded in 2021, the company is dedicated to advancing the electrification and intelligent transformation of high-performance water mobility worldwide. Backed by more than 100 patents, the company has developed a complete electric outboard system spanning power ranges from 70 to 1200 HP, capable of meeting the needs of everything from compact craft to demanding high-performance vessels. This propulsion line is complemented by its 5S photovoltaic-storage-charging microgrid energy solution, which brings clean generation, storage and charging together in a single integrated system. With a distribution network now established across more than 20 countries and regions, ExploMar is building a global platform for cleaner, smarter and more efficient marine mobility.

The boat

Explomar

The boat presented at Monaco comes from Yacht & Technik, it’s the dealer in Germany. Equipped with the WAVE 150+ and a 90 kWh battery, it delivers 200 HP peak and 136 HP continuous power. With an axial flux motor, electronic steering and closed cooling, it ensures strong, efficient and reliable performance — a real-world demonstration of ExploMar’s electric outboard technology.

Follow the team at the Challenge

The team competes in the Open Sea Xperience class at the 13th Monaco Energy Boat Challenge, 7–11 July 2026 in Port Hercule, with ExploMar Germany 65. Presented by German dealer Yacht & Technik, the boat pairs the WAVE 150+ electric outboard with a 90 kWh battery for 200 HP peak power, using an axial flux motor, electronic steering and closed cooling for efficient, reliable performance.
